We are proud to host a range of independent Allied Health professionals who offer services from within our medical centre. Our Allied Health professionals work alongside our GPs to provide complementary care in a host of areas supporting prevention, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

Debbie Henderson
Clinical Psychologist

Deb is a Clinical Psychologist at Glenorie District Medical Centre with over 20 years of experience across corporate, public and private health, and school settings. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from CEOs of top companies to individuals with long-term mental health challenges, and has provided clinical services in high schools, eating disorder clinics, hospitals, and private practice. Deb believes that respectful relationships are at the heart of behaviour change. She enjoys hearing people’s life stories and works collaboratively with clients to implement meaningful change. She works effectively with clients of all ages—from teenagers to senior adults—and uses a range of therapy techniques, including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), Schema Therapy, and supportive counselling. Deb holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Masters in Organisational Psychology, and is registered with Medicare, SIRA, AHPRA, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three teenage children, and two dogs.

Alison Claxton

Alison is a Clinical Pharmacist working part-time with the care team at Glenorie District Medical Centre. She helps patients understand their medications and get the most from their treatment. Alison is credentialled to provide Home Medication Reviews for eligible patients, and consultations are fully funded. Appointments can be recommended by your doctor or booked directly if you have any questions or concerns about your medications. Alison is dedicated to supporting patients with clear guidance, education, and practical advice to optimise their health and wellbeing.

Eva Xie
Pathology Collector

Eva is a Senior Pathology Collector at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology (DHM). She completed her Certificate III in Pathology Collection and training at DHM and has been working at Glenorie District Medical Centre since January 2018. Eva enjoys working in a friendly and supportive environment and is experienced in difficult collections and complex tests, ensuring patients receive accurate results while feeling comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.

Tracey Fleischner
Podiatrist

Tracey is a Podiatrist at Glenorie District Medical Centre with over 20 years of experience caring for patients’ feet. She provides comprehensive podiatry services, including general foot care such as corns, callouses, and toenail management, as well as biomechanical assessments and orthotics. Tracey welcomes patients with EPC referrals, DVA coverage, and private patients, and is dedicated to helping everyone stay active, mobile, and comfortable on their feet.
